Personal Opinion

I just had my first Coffee Coolatta from Dunkin Donuts, and all I can say is "Whoohoo! It was so yummy and I am already looking forward to my second and third and so on. And yes I know this is just my personal opinion but it counts for me.

Live On Stage

My grandson was doing camp for Live On Stage, at our local community college. The last day they had a performance for the families to show off what they had learned. He seems to enjoy acting and singing so this week was a blast for him. Although I am posting a few pics they really aren't all that good, it was so dark in the theather. My grandson is the one in the center of all the pictures.

"UP" A Must See Movie

"UP" We Loved This Movie!
My grandson has been wanting to see this movie especially in 3D. So we decided we would go and see it, during his first week of summer vacation. This was my first time seeing a movie in 3D, it was clear and crisp however I myself did not feel like it had a whole lot of 3D moments. This was definitely a fantastic movie. It had some great lessons that we could all learn from. Love, devotion, loyalty and friendship. . I would definitely want to put this in my DVD library. Great family movie!

Let's Hear It For, Summer Vacation!

School's Out!

School's out, I can hear all the Yehaws! Especially from my Grandson who's last day was yesterday. I can still remember the excitement one feels on their last day. So I decided before too much time passed with summer vacation I would ask him a few questions about about his 2nd grade and thoughts on moving up to the 3rd grade.
1. What was your favorite subject this year?
Without any thought he just said "Writing".
2. Any thoughts on your teacher this year?
She was very nice he replied.
3. Did your second grade class take a class trip this year?
We took two, Planterium and Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Where he was excited that Melvin Mora the Orioles third baseman was there to talk with the students.(I guess it helped that MM's son was in my grandson 2nd grade class)
4.Would you say there was any other subjects you enjoyed?
First reply was recess, I explained that's not a subject. But ok a typical answer for a 8 year old boy. He then replied well gym then. Ok I'll take that one!
5.Any thoughts on what you might like to do when you finish school?
I want to be a Teacher or maybe a Rock Star.
6. Your classroom was in a portable this year, did you like that?
At first yeah, but I would rather be in a classroom.
7.What are you most looking forward to doing with being out of school for summer?
No more homework and play, play all day!
8. Are you excited about passing and going on to the third grade?
Na not yet. Then said, can I go play with my friends now. Yeah go, have fun after all it's summer vacation time.
